MICHAEL McALLISTER
PRINCIPAL
Michael is the Founder and Managing Director of Great Accounting. Michael is a Registered Tax Agent and a Certified Practising Accountant acting as a member of CPA Australia for over 30 years.
Michael worked as an Accountant in the Commercial field for 20 years in the areas of Health, Transport and Construction before making the move to the Public Accounting field. His expertise is in complex personal taxation matters and small business. Michael’s major areas of expertise are in Small to Medium business enterprises and Self-Managed Superannuation funds, being able to offer accurate and effective advice from set up to administration and final reporting and tax Planning. Michael is passionate about getting your “Accounting house in order” and growing your wealth from there.
In addition to his passion for Accounting, Michael is an avid follower of the St Kilda Football Club. Michael is also a passionate musician, enjoying a former life as a bassist in a popular Latrobe Valley band and always looking for a spare moment to play his Gretsch guitar. Michael enjoys his travels and is eager to return to Vietnam, his favourite sight-seeing destination.
